Interbalkan Environment Centre
The Ιnter-Balkan Environment Centre (ΙBEC) is an innovation-oriented organisation specialising in digital technologies, data-driven solutions, and sustainable development strategies. It supports the design of tools and frameworks that enable environmental monitoring, entrepreneurship, and knowledge transfer across research and innovation ecosystems.
Role within Nemesis
Within Nemesis, IBEC contributes to both the digital and innovation-oriented components of the project. IBEC contributes the development of the Digital App Synthesis Machine, enabling the exploitation of soil health data for generating applications . IBEC leads the establishment of the Living Labs Factory Innovation Capitals Office, supporting long-term sustainability and innovation pathways (WP8). Through its combined technical and strategic expertise, IBEC strengthens the link between digital infrastructure, innovation uptake, and the long-term valorisation of Nemesis outcomes.
