It works globally to improve livelihoods, restore degraded landscapes, enhance biodiversity, and strengthen climate resilience through science-based solutions and policy engagement.
Role within Nemesis
Within Nemesis, ICRAF leads policy innovation and adaptive shaping through informed and continuous engagement (WP5). The organisation coordinates activities related to data-driven policy development and the establishment of the Policy Hub, fostering dialogue between researchers, policymakers, and Living Labs . Through its expertise in agroforestry and international policy processes, ICRAF strengthens the link between scientific evidence and policy frameworks. Its involvement ensures that Nemesis results contribute to informed decision-making and support the integration of sustainable soil management into regional, national, and international strategies.
